They are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff member to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product recommendations and ensure excellent customer service
- Handle sales transactions, operate the cash register, and process payments
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure merchandise is well displayed
- Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking shelves
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

Requirements

- Retail or sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is a plus

Exam location

The venue is Maranga meeting room at Sarit Center Expo in Westlands.

Exam Instructions

The exam payment shall be KSh 500. The purpose of the payment is to pay the experts marking the exams as well as payment for the venue. It is payable at the exam location before doing the exam.

You will be required to carry your ID and a pen.

The exam shall be done on Saturday 15th March 2025. The exam time shall be in the morning. The exact time will be discussed. Please keep a look out on your email or contact us if you would prefer to keep your email and phone number private. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes to time.

The exam will be a written exam.

- Practical aspects of sales

The top 3 individuals will do a final interview with the company to determine who is the most qualified. All applicants will know the results within 1 day. The top 3 applicants will have their KSh 500 refunded within 2 business days.
