City Walk is a leading retail brand specializing in footwear, apparel, and accessories. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an IT ERP Trainer to enhance their teams' understanding and efficient use of ERP systems hence ensuring smooth business operations.

The IT ERP Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs on the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role involves educating employees on ERP functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless adoption of the system across departments.

Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver training sessions on ERP system usage for employees at various levels
- Create user-friendly manuals, training guides, and video tutorials
- Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, both in-person and virtually
- Work with IT and business teams to customize ERP functionalities based on company needs
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP users
- Stay updated on system upgrades and ensure staff are trained on new features
- Gather feedback from trainees to improve training materials and delivery

Requirements

- Experience in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience as an ERP Trainer, IT Trainer, or ERP Consultant
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex IT concepts for non-technical users
- Experience in retail ERP systems
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively

The venue is Maranga meeting room at Sarit Center Expo in Westlands

Exam Instructions

The exam payment shall be KSh 500. The purpose of the payment is to pay the experts marking the exams as well as payment for the venue. It is payable at the exam location before doing the exam.

You will be required to carry your ID and a pen.

The exam shall be done on Saturday 15th March 2025. The exam time shall be in the morning. The exact time will be discussed. Please keep a look out on your email or contact us if you would prefer to keep your email and phone number private. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes to time.

The exam will be a written exam.

The contents of the exam are listed below.

- Knowledge of IT fundamentals
- Knowledge of business information systems
- Knowledge of ERP systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar
- Problem solving skills
- Presentation skills

The top 3 individuals will do a final interview with the company to determine who is the most qualified. All applicants will know the results within 1 day. The top 3 applicants will have their KSh 500 refunded within 2 business days.
